Grade 1:Grade 1 titanium is the softest and most ductile titanium alloy. This alloy is used for corrosive environments and for cold forming.
Grade 2:Unalloyed titanium with a standard level of dissolved oxygen.
Grade 2H: Grade 2 with 58 ksi minimum Ultimate tensile strength (UTS).
Grade 3:Unalloyed titanium with a medium level of oxygen.
Grade 5:Grade 5 titanium is the most commonly used alloy. Grade 5 titanium is also known as Ti6Al4V, Ti 6-4 or Ti-6Al-4V. This grade offers the most desirable combination of fabricability, weld, corrosion resistance and strength.
Grade 6: Grade 6 titanium provides good strength, stability and weldability at higher temperatures which makes it commonly used in jet engines and air frames.
Grade 7: Similar to Grade 2 but with enhanced corrosion resistance at high PH and low temperatures.
Grade 7H:This has enhanced corrosion resistance compared to Grade 7.
Grade 9: Commonly used in athletic equipment and aircraft tubing for hydrolics, this titanium alloy combines ease of welding with high strength.
Grade 11: A titanium alloy of 0.12 to 0.25% palladium with enhanced corrosion resistance.
